LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS 通訳・まちづくりボランティアの追加募集をします！
Hi, everyone!
Are you interested in antiques or vintage clothing? Do you have strong Japanese and English communication skills? This November 15th and 16th, we are looking for volunteer Japanese/English interpreters for the Nagoya Antique Market!
What is NAM (Nagoya Antique Market)?
NAM is a large antique market held twice a year, held at Higashi Betsuin and Nishi Betsuin temples in Nagoya. It’s a huge market featuring antiques and vintage clothing, in addition to food trucks and other vendors. Last spring we had over 15,000 guests! This time we’ll have a few vendors from overseas, so we’re looking for volunteer interpreters to support communication between those vendors and customers.
Dates:
・11/15 Saturday 9:30–17:30 (8 hours with break, lunch provided)
・11/16 Sunday 9:00–17:00
※Half-day participation is also available from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Details:
・You’ll be interpreting for vendors from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Thailand
・Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese are required (interpreting experience not require, but a plus)
・Interested in antiques/vintage clothing is preferred
・Half days are also OK!

【ローカルコネクトブース概要】
名古屋アンティークマーケットで、寺町スポットを紹介してみませんか？ 「まちづくりや地域活性化に興味がある！」「みんなの笑顔溢れる素敵なイベントのお手伝いをしたい！」という人必見です。
【募集するボランティアの内容】
当日はローカルコネクトブースの設置から受付、アンケートの実施、橘町を案内してくれるガイドブックの配布等を行います！来場者の方とコミュニケーションをとって頂き、地域に関するアンケートの質問等も行います！
【募集人数】
5人(応募多数の場合は抽選)
